WHEREAS the Settlor Sri.N. Chiranjeeva Rao had
constituted a trust under the name and style SRI SATHYA SAI AUDIO VISUALS
by an indenture dated 18th August, 1997 for objects of public charitable nature
with an initial amount of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) duly registered
with appropriate authorities (hereinafter referred to as the Deed).
WHEREAS it has been thought
appropriate to clarify some of the objects to bring out their true purpose and
purport so that the Trust in all respects will continue to function as hitherto
in conformity with the various Laws including the Indian Income-tax
Act,1961.
The Settlor, Sri N.Chiranjeeva Rao, hereby decided to make the following amendments
to the Deed:
(1) The sub-clause D(ii) of Clause 3(a) of the Deed be substituted by the following:
“To promote sustain and
support fine arts”.
(2) The sub clause D
(iii) of Clause 3(a) of the Deed be substituted by the following:-
To undertake support and carryout, by
every means, the inculcation and promotion of moral values in general
public”
Shri K.S.Rajan, Trustee has concurred
with the above amendments.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF Sri
N. Chiranjeeva Rao, Settlor-Trustee and Shri K.S.Rajan, Trustee have
hereunto set and subscribed their hand this the 30th day of August 1999 to this
Deed of Amendment.
