Mr.Karunanidhi,
The Hon. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu had strongly supported the findings
of the Archaeological Survey of India, asserting that there is no historical
evidence for human construction of “Sriramasethu” bridge and also
that there is no evidence for the life of Srirama.
This fact
was propagated all over Tamil Nadu by Periyar E.V.Ramasamy Naikar, a
few decades ago.
The hindu
parivar miscreants of Karnataka had attacked the house of Mrs.Selvi,
the daughter of Sri.Karunanidhi at Banglore. They also burned
a bus and killed two innocent people by their uncultured revenge against
Mr. Karunanidhi.
Sriramasethu
was not constructed by humans. It was a natural formation due
to the sea-water flow. This has nothing to do with Srirama or
Ramayana.
Srirama
of Ramayana was an ordinary mortal who could not understand anything
beyond his direct vision. He could not identify the “maya-deer”
who guided Rama away from Sita. Due to this human inability of
Rama, Ravana stole Sita and the story of Ramayana continued. Is
this Rama a divine god ?
There
are many mythical stories in Ramayana which are against common reason.
Eg.1. Hanuman, picked up a hill and carried it through air! It
is impossible and therefore unreliable. 2. Hanuman burned
Lanka city by his tail with fire. It is an utter lie! 3.
Hanuman shortened his body like a small seed, and pierced through the
ear of a Rakshasi in air, and escaped through her mouth! This
is impossible. 4. A story that Hanuman jumped over 400 Yojanas over
the sea and reached Lanka is also an impossibility. A superstitious
hindu believer may consider these stories as true, but not even a hindu
child of common reason will approve it.
Like this,
the story that Sriramsethu was constructed by Rama and his army of monkeys,
is also a myth.
The report of
Archaeological Survey of India is a verified fact and historically factual.
If this statement is changed, then it becomes a lie. The permission of The
Supreme Court to alter a true statement, is tantamount to file a false
statement. This is unjust and illegal.
The Central
govt. is afraid of the treacherous political and communal campaign by
the Sangh Parivar. To appease their communal stand, the govt.
is compelled to file false statement and there by destroys the secular
culture and tradition of India.
Instead of
withdrawing a true statement, a Central Secular(?) Government should have taken
a bold step to implement secularism and there by control communal politics.
Communalism is
the product of an unholy unity of religion and politics, ie.
Religion + Politics = Communalism.
Politics
without Religion is true secularism, ie.
Politics – Religion = Secularism.
Our leaders
shall by-heart these political equations and shall secularise the government
and the Indian people immediately.
The Central
Government shall enact a Bill for Separation of Religion from Politics
to prohibit the communal politics of the Hindu parivar and Muslim Terrorists.
The Federation
of Indian Rationalist Associations (FIRA) had submitted a model bill
for the above purpose in April 2004, to the authorities of the Central
Government after a Dharna before the Parliament by FIRA. Three
years elapsed after that. No positive step was taken on it by the government.
It proves that UPA Government with Congress and left parties are pseudo
secularists, always diluting secularism to make profit out of
semi-communal baitings.
Using this
political hook, the Central Government preferred to withdraw the factual
statement of the Archaeological experts from the Supreme Court.
If they were
true secularists, as they have admitted by oath, they should have declared an
Ordinance to Separate Religion from Politics, and there by derecognized communal
parties to control or prohibit the anti-social communalism in India.
Even in
this late hours, FIRA, request the Government of India to enact A BILL
FOR SEPARATION OF RELIGION FROM POLITICS. With out secular politics,
the UPA cannot continue in the government- this is the lesson we have
to learn from the utter failure of the last NDA–Government.
